At NBP Public School, we believe that discipline, respect, and responsibility form the foundation of academic and personal success. Our Code of Conduct applies to all students, staff, and visitors, and aims to create a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.
1. General Conduct
- All students must behave respectfully toward teachers, staff, peers, and visitors.
- Obedience to school authorities and adherence to school rules is mandatory at all times.
- Students must attend all classes, activities, and assemblies unless granted prior permission for absence.
- Disruptive behavior, bullying, or use of abusive language will not be tolerated.
2. Attendance & Punctuality
- Students must arrive at school before the morning assembly.
- Minimum 75% attendance is required to appear in final examinations unless exempted for medical reasons.
- Repeated late arrival may lead to disciplinary action.
3. Uniform & Appearance
- Students must wear the complete and proper school uniform on all working days and functions.
- Uniforms must be clean, neat, and properly ironed.
- Hair must be properly groomed. Boys must maintain a neat haircut; girls must tie their hair if long.
- Wearing fancy jewelry, makeup, or inappropriate accessories is strictly prohibited.
4. Discipline & Behavior
- Mobile phones, smartwatches, or other electronic gadgets are not allowed unless specifically permitted.
- Students must not damage school property. Any damage caused will be recovered from the concerned student(s).
- Cheating during examinations, plagiarism, or dishonest behavior will result in strict disciplinary measures.
- Respect the national flag, anthem, and cultural symbols.
5. Academic Integrity
- Students are expected to complete homework, assignments, and projects on time.
- Examination rules must be followed strictly; misconduct may lead to disqualification.
- Students must bring all required books and learning materials daily.
6. Safety & Health
- Students must not leave school premises during school hours without written permission.
- Running or playing rough games in the corridors is strictly prohibited.
- All health issues must be reported immediately to the class teacher or school nurse.
7. Use of School Property
- Respect school infrastructure including desks, benches, walls, and learning aids.
- Use library books, lab equipment, and computers with care and return them on time.
- Keep classrooms, corridors, and playgrounds clean and litter-free.
8. Parental Cooperation
- Parents are expected to attend PTMs and stay informed of their child’s progress.
- All fees must be paid on time to avoid disruption in services.
- Parents must inform the school in case of prolonged absence or medical conditions.
9. Disciplinary Actions
Any violation of the Code of Conduct may result in verbal warnings, written notices, detention, suspension, or expulsion depending on the severity of the incident. The school’s decision in disciplinary matters shall be final and binding.
10. Acceptance of Rules
Enrolling at NBP Public School implies acceptance of this Code of Conduct. Students and parents are expected to read, understand, and abide by all rules and regulations of the school.
